Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Socnivo app and website (socnivo.com), operated by Nexify (nexify.co.in) (“Socnivo”, “we”, “us”). By creating an account or using Socnivo, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use Socnivo.
1. What Socnivo is
Socnivo is software that helps housing societies manage their gate, maintenance billing, payments, complaints, community and amenities. We provide the software; your housing society decides how it is used and administers its members. Socnivo is not a party to the relationship between you and your society.
2. Accounts & roles
- You sign in with your mobile number and a one-time code. You are responsible for keeping access to your number and device secure, and for activity under your account.
- Access depends on your role — resident, guard, or committee/administrator — as assigned within your society. Roles are enforced by the service; you must use only the access granted to you.
- You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
3. Society administrators’ responsibilities
Society committees/administrators who set up and run a society on Socnivo are responsible for approving members, configuring charges and bills, verifying payments, posting notices, and handling members’ data lawfully and fairly. Administrators must have the authority to manage the society and its members’ information.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use Socnivo for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms;
- upload content that is false, misleading, offensive, infringing or harmful;
- misuse the gate, complaints, community or payment features — for example, harassing others or submitting false payment proof;
- attempt to access the data of other societies or users, or interfere with or disrupt the service;
- reverse engineer, resell or otherwise misuse the service.
5. Payments
Maintenance and other charges are set and collected by your society. When you record a payment in Socnivo, you pay your society directly (for example, by UPI or bank transfer) and upload proof; your society verifies and settles it. Socnivo is a software provider — it is not a bank, payment processor or party to any payment, and does not hold funds. Any dispute about amounts, dues or refunds is between you and your society.
6. Your content
You retain ownership of the content you submit — such as complaints, photos, documents and posts. You grant Socnivo a limited licence to host and display that content as needed to operate the service for your society. You are responsible for the content you submit and for having the rights to share it.
7. Service availability
We work to keep Socnivo available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Features may change, and we may perform maintenance or updates from time to time.
8. Disclaimer of warranties
Socnivo is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the service will meet your requirements or be uninterrupted, secure or error-free.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Nexify and Socnivo will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for loss of data, profits or goodwill, arising from your use of the service. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
10. Termination
Your society may remove your access, and we may suspend or terminate access if these Terms are violated or to protect the service and its users. You may stop using Socnivo at any time and request account deletion (see the Privacy Policy).
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will change the “Last updated” date, and continued use of Socnivo after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, and any disputes are subject to the courts of India.
